Cartilaginous joints
Cartilaginous joints, allow a limited degree of movement.
In these joints, the bone surfaces are covered by a layer of cartilage and joined by fibrous tissue embedded in the cartilage.
The joints between the vertebrae are examples of cartilaginous joints, as is the symphysis pubis at the front of the pelvis.
