This course is split into ten e-learning modules on the subject of basic human anatomy and physiology. You are now viewing the first module which aims to introduce you to some of the basics - with particular reference to the structure of medical words.

The following nine learning modules each cover a different body system, for example the circulatory system (Module 4) and the digestive system (Module 7). There are lots of pictures and questions throughout these modules. At the end of every learning module is a short self-test quiz where you can see how well you have understood the information - these are not assessed.
